Flows and polarities, Villetaneuse (F), Europan 5

Françoise Decoster, Djamel Klouche and Caroline Poulin, winners of EUROPAN 5 in villetaneuse (F), developed after their ideas in several urban studies and a project of housing on the site.

In a city typical of the suburbs of Paris, the competition project focuses on the co-production of present and future attractors on the site and of flows -Density + diversity- to propose a process of collective appropriation and gradual enhancement of the great oxbow that isolates the university, the Allende estate and the town centre -Insularities-.

For the realisation, an experimental housing operation on block H and in the interstices of the Allende estate -Discreet planning- raises the question of urban form and organisation in space. This typological research manufactures variations of an urban landscape -Residentiality-.
